The Council of State withdrew Kosovo from the list of the safe countries of origin but maintained Albania and Georgia (Conseil d'Etat, section du contentieux, 2ème et 7ème sections réunies, n. 375474 et 375920, October 10, 2014).
For the asylum seekers, 16 countries are registered on the latter list established by the administration council of the OFPRA : Albania, Armenia, Benin, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cape Verde, Georgia, Ghana, India, Macedonia, Maurice, Moldavia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania.
Ukraine was withdrawn from the list following a note coming from the ministry of interior requesting the "prefets" (representative of the states) to stop applying the accelerated procedures to Ukrainian asylum seekers.
