During this period, you have to know that:

• Long-term visa;
• Permits to stay;
• Provisional residence permits;
• Receipts for residence permit application;
• Asylum application certificates;

Which expire between March 16 and May 15, 2020 are automically extended within the limit of 180 days (Ordinance n° 2020-460, April 24, 2020 - art. 24, which amends the Ordinance n° 2020-328, March 25, 2020 on the extension of the duration of validity of permits to stay).

The borders of the Schengen Area are closed until further notice: non -European nationals are not allowed to enter during this period of time.
